Children experience culture @ the Montego Bay Cultural Centre

We just culminated our annual Kids Summer Workshop – JCAY 2019. where we target children ages 6 -10 for a 2 week activity packed workshop spanning Art, History & Culture. These children are given the opportunity to create, be expressive, become culturally aware, connect with their inner selves and become social beings. There is also a field trip and showcase to climax the experience.

The programme led by the Curator and Assistant Curators at the National Museum West and National Gallery West – Ms. Kerry-Ann Watson and Ms. Monique Gilpin who designed the sessions tailored to the experience and benefit of the participants. They both are experienced in Education, Art & History and also have working knowledge of the National Curriculum for students.
