What is Due West?

Due West is an annual exhibition held at the National Gallery West in Montego Bay, which showcases the work of artists from western Jamaica. It’s a juried exhibition, meaning artists submit their work, and a selection committee determines which pieces will be displayed. This year, Due West opened on April 13, 2025, and featured 17 artists working in various media.

Visitors can also vote for their favourite artist in the People’s Choice Award, with a cash prize for the winner (artist with the most votes).
