The Museum’s outreach activities include various communities and stakeholders in Montego Bay and western Jamaica to create a truly community-based museum of which local communities will hopefully consider their own. Our curator develops teaching programmes and digital media platforms to disseminate interesting content.
National Museum West offers public programmes geared for primary, secondary, tertiary, adult, and community participants focused on aspects of Jamaican history and relevant themes of contemporary life.
